LWV Bartlesville is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Here are some of the areas we could use your help.
Voter Registration
This is the bread and butter of the League. Voter registration is a great way to fit some volunteer time in if you have a busy schedule - you can sign up for as few or as many shifts as you like.
Observer Corps
The Observer Corps is an excellent way to learn about how government works. Observers attend governmental meetings, note what happens at them, and report back to the League and community. Observing is extremely important because it reminds governmental officials that people are watching what decisions are being made and how those decisions are being made.
Communications
Are you creative? Interested in writing, photography, or videography? Maybe you’re a social media or graphic design fiend. Getting involved in communications might be for you.
Member Recruitment and Engagement
Growing our membership and engaging our current members is important to us. If you’re a social butterfly or the one always planning your friend group’s activities, this would be a great opportunity for you.
Program Management
One of the primary ways we engage with the community is by hosting forums, education sessions, and trainings. We need organized people to help manage these virtual and in-person events.
If you have another idea for how you’d like to volunteer, please let us know. We welcome new ideas!
